Star Trek Armada III. This is a mod for SINS of Solar Empire "Rebellion" which can be purchased on Steam. Please don't take this as a sales pitch. This mod was just released and has been in the making for well over a year. Released on Christmas. But the detail that went into this is just amazing, top notch modeling and sound effects. This mod has been downloaded almost 11,000 times since Christmas. And you can play online. If you have never played SINS then you are in for a treat. This game and the mod has it all. Conquer planets, beam down colonists, build defenses on the planet and in space. Build space stations, hangers, docks all kinds of stuff. Battles with literally hundreds and hundreds of ships of all sizes and classes. Lights, heavies, dreds, battleships and carriers. I have been waiting on this mod all year. I feel like a kid in a candy store hehe. Feds, Rom, Klingon's and Borg. I think they have pirates also but I'm not sure yet. These games can take literally all day if you let them because you are trying to expand your control thru-out a entire solar system. You can even go thru wormholes to other systems where you enemy may be building his empire. You can also save online games and start right where you left off. The video does the game no justice, IMOP you have to play to really enjoy it. The webpage says release date TBD to be determined but I don't think they have updated page yet.
