Topic: Strange emails.

For the last two days I've been receiving emails claiming to be from U.S military (example@afghan.swa.army.mil).  The first one had a bunch of .PDF attachments with it.  My question is, has there been any reports of spam or malware under the disguise of "official" military emails?

I wouldn't think anything of it except two months ago I was receiving emails claiming to be from a "fraternity".  And a month ago I was receiving emails from some "corporate" upper management.  None of the emails are addressed to me but seem to be miss-sent to me.
