Some Inspiration?

Recent polls indicate a significant percentage of the SFC modding population is seeking inspiration.

I hope these couple renders of my latest work help prime the pump:

Treasure Planet: Battle at Procyon??  I would reinstall SFC to fly these.  What a great mod that would make.

IM I do see a real Game mod possable with the theme. All of your airships alone can start up more than1/2 a mod.

Thanks guys. I have started to work up some Spec files for them with restricted weapons arcs to encourage broadside engagement. I am not sure what the best way to release them would be. Should it be just model and textures (which would be easiest for me), or do I need to go into the UI, spec files , etc. etc. for SFCIII?

Nice. While I always hated the Hispanolians in SFB, even as a simulator race, I really like these models. And I love watching  "Treasure Planet" with my kids.

SFC2 /CE is the game to mod  now.     Model and possable hardpoints needed .  Not sure if LOD models are usefull with CE ?

Well Kreeargh, that makes it easy. Once I get over this Isaac inconvenience, I can work on some releases. I assume SFC: CE uses the same hard points as SFC and OP? (remember, primary and heavy points were swapped for SFC3)

I don't have the capability to do lods or true break models in Milkshape.

Is there something wrong with the Milkshape plugin? Cause I can do LODs for A2 just fine in milkshape.

No, there is nothing wrong with the plugin, it just never had that capability. In Armada, lods are node/hardpoint driven, in SFC, break models and lods are mesh driven.

There seams to be plenty of programers in the SFC community; I wonder why no one ever bothered to fix that?
