Ok. Well, you see, this is what worries me a bit. From the reports I heard, Paramont took a heavy hit in the Star Trek franchise in 2004. So you say that "S-T-O" is free now, that means if Paramont is "Alive" in anyway then they are not making money off of this. So who exactly is "running" this "Star Trek Online" game?
In some ways, I'm kinda glad Some people are working on an SFC game of some sort. I wouldn't totally abandon ADB's product, even if it is a bit old and... well... dried up. It is still a company that has some legal rights to some of this anways, unlike many freelance programmers. As an experiment with dynaverse, has anyone ever thought of something similar to ADB's "SFB Online" program has? Its totally HTML driven. Of course, you need the rule books to use "SFB Online", but hey, SFC comes with the Cadet manual (hint, hint!).
