http://www.spaceflightnow.com/news/n1112/02phobosgrunt/finally in a bizarre story about deep sea gardening... yes you heard me! it has been discovered that yeti crab that live around deep sea thermal vents "garden" bacteria on it's claws and body spikes, which it eats and lives on. this bizarre looking creature has many spikes on it's body which it uses to harvest bacteria to grow and eventually consume. there is a video supplied which show that the crab also "waves" it's arms around to collect bacteria. check it out here:
