SFC OP Fed NCL Model
« on: November 27, 2011, 10:30:30 am »
I have been playing OP again, and I have most of the models updated and they look pretty good. The one model, I don't like is the Fed NCL with the warp engines above the saucer. I'd like to change it back to the "reliant" look. I don't remember how to do that. Can someone send me the files and tell me where to copy them please?

I always considerd the "Reliant" an NCA type ship more then an NCL.  Not an actual NCA just another variant of an NCA.  Over the years, I've actually seen several variations of NCA proposals.  For example, the Locknar class is an excellent example of an NCL while the Reliant (engines below the main hull) would be another class of NCA.

If a CA is a enterprise theme , a Nca would be a New version of the CA  but NCL light cruiser cl .New tech but smaller in scale to the Nca. Light cruiser theme mass smaller? one could say theme is ok for a heavy frig ? But do the warp mass scale down to make it possable ?

If I picked I would go for the Fasa Apollo class theme for a NCL.

I have to admit that I love playing COOP ace with the black hole, a NCD and fast missiles. I have the difficulty ramped up and it's almost unbeatable. The NCD is better than the CAD!

Edit: Okay I lied, I would use the Miranda ><

I was always a fan of the Surya/Coventry designs (NCL/NCA).
