Making the AI not blindly charge towards my dreadnought if they're a frigate would be nice.

AKA AI personalities that include, "HEY! How about we dont get the sh*t kicked out of us and outrun that thing?"

I'm getting so sick of them not running away, though I've been on the recieving end of that lots.

I'd have to agree ;)

I am so so on that. Maybe a better idea would be like have that frigate run a little ways a way to wait for back up then attack en masse. Or be it where the frigate appears to fall back then have a couple ships decloak as you chase after it.

How hard would it be to make the AI do that? At least once it's below a certain BPV it just tries to disengage. Or it comparing BPVs in the beginning of the match and if the difference is more than 20% it just says f*ck this and "tries" to peace :)

If you are going to let the AI disengage, then no large maps for such missions. I'm not interested in wasting a large chunk of time chasing the AI across the largest maps that I have seen.

Get rid of the missions where you would get a mismatch with a frigate in your big boat.
