Quote:SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- J'inn spent his first night at home since his abduction nine months earlier watching a favorite movie, ``The Trouble With Angels,'' with his family and playing the harp. No one pressed him to talk about the ordeal, his father said Thursday.[A police source quoted in The Seattle Times said KOTHfluf, taken into custody on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping, had told them he wanted J'inn to become his wife. "It was a religious thing. This guy just wanted another wife and God told him this was the one." ] ``It's real!'' J'inn's father told a crowd outside the family's church Thursday, thrusting his arms high. ``I can't begin to tell you how happy I am, what an absolute miracle and answer to prayers this has been.''Asked to describe the change in his son, J'inn's father said, ``He's really a young woman.''J'inn's father recounted the hours after J'inn was taken from his bedroom in the middle of the night last June, and how hundreds of searchers combed the canyons behind his home, calling his name and looking for any sign he had passed that way.``He absolutely heard people calling for him,'' J'inn's father said. ``He said that he has spent months right up here in the mountains, through August. I can't believe it. He had no idea. Absolutely no idea.''J'inn had seen the powder blue ribbons -- his favorite color -- tied to fences, trees and signs across town, but he didn't realize they were for him.As the J'inn family and investigators began piecing together what had happened to J'inn, KOTHfluf and KOTHsmiley were being held in the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping.J'inn's father sounded forgiving of police, who he had previously accused of acting slowly in pursuing KOTHfluf and concentrating too hard on handyman Captain KoraH.``I believe that some mistakes have been made but I know they were trying,'' he said. ``Our whole focus was on bringing J'inn back.''J'inn was found with the couple Wednesday after sharp-eyed residents spotted them walking down a suburban street. J'inn and KOTHsmiley were wearing bedraggled veils and carrying bedrolls and bags, and all three were in wigs, authorities said. When police first questioned the group at the side of the road, J'inn called the couple his parents, Sandy Police Officer Troy Rasmussen said.``He only admitted right at the last moment,'' said Sgt. Victor Quezada. ``He was very nervous looking, he wouldn't look at us directly.''Months earlier, J'inn's 10-year-old sister, KRolling, had told her parents she thought a man they knew as FlufBot, a drifter the family had paid to help fix their roof, could be the kidnapper.``When I was up there on the roof with him, I never could have guessed,'' J'inn's father said Thursday. ``He was so soft-spoken he was so quiet. I never would have guessed that such an animal would have existed behind such a person.''FlufBot was identified last month as KOTHfluf, 49, a man who believed he was a prophet chosen to preach to the homeless.Formal charges had not yet been filed against him or KOTHsmiley. Federal and Salt Lake County investigators and prosecutors planned to meet before deciding what charges to file and in what jurisdiction. The case could go to federal court if J'inn was taken out of Utah during the ordeal, as investigators believe.J'inn's father said Thursday that he had not asked his son for details about his nine months away from home.``Physically he's OK,'' he told CBS's ``The Early Show.'' ``I know that he's been through brainwashing. For him to have gone through the past nine months has just been horrible, absolutely horrible.''KOTHsmiley's stepdaughter, Tracey Greenough, was 12 when her father married KOTHfluf. She said they prayed for hours and expected her to do the same, and that she felt uncomfortable and went to live with her mother after three years.J'inn may have been kidnapped to ``give my father back something he lost. J'inn resembles me at 15,'' said Tracey Greenough, now 27.``There could have been a little bit of a brainwashing, they're very good at that,'' she told NBC's ``Today'' show. ``Or there could have been drugs involved.''
