Topic: SFC1 Under Wine

Until about a week ago, I had SFC1 running at a nice speed under Wine on Ubuntu Linux. However, the performance recently dropped dramatically and I can't figure out how to speed it back up. The really annoying thing is that since I hadn't played it in a few days I'm not sure if it's because of a system update or if I did something to mess it up. If anybody here has Linux and SFC1 I would really appreciate some help.
