STC OP Mod Chooser
« on: June 24, 2011, 05:59:18 pm »
It is all set to read only all files everything and I can't delete it off my drive as of this.I try to keep changing but it just reverts back to read only as it think I am not the Admin which I am.This PC has no set PW.I just unistalled OP off this drive but can't delete the game folder.

I still have eveythin in my recyle bin if needed t be restored.

The first thing I would do is a chkdsk. I don't know that it will fix it and allow you to mark them as not read only, but its a good place to start.

1) Start.. Run
2) cmd
3) chkdsk c: /f
4) Restart

If you want you can watch and at finish of chkdsk it will tell you if it made repairs to file system.

5) Try again to uncheck "read only"

I  did as you said and it wouldn't uncheck to read only but I was able to delete it as well as STFC-OP game folder.I will just do a fresh reinstall. It is possible that me playing around with FS shiplist swapper might have caused this.

It really didn't work as it is still in read only the Chooser file and subsequent files only the word pads can be unchecked.

Well, what happens then? Still same error? Access violation?

No.It just reverts back to read only when I uncheck read only and click apply then ok.It depends on the shiplist to error access denied.

Does it happen when you try change to any mod, or just 1 mod?
