I don't blame her, I blame the idiots who asked her to do it.  You don't ask someone if you don't know if they can sing or not.

1. She knew she couldn't sing she could always have declined
2. She may not have intended to do it poorly, but if you notice, after the booing starts, she giggles and the singing gets even shriller, and she does that exaggerated walk when she leaves the field.  So I do feel she is to blame to an extent.

So, when George Burns was 80, we thought of him as that loveable old guy who plays god.

Now that William Shatner is 80, I still don't think of him as 'that old guy'.  He's so vibrant for an 80 year old.  So is my neighbor at 82, but that's another story.

I'm sure Bill is happy for any work that comes his way.  I miss Boston Legal...

I didn't realize until today while wiki-ing, but James Doohan was about 11 years older than Shatner and Nimoy, who are both 80.  All three were born in March.  RIP James!

I'm sorry, but Scotty didn't look to be in his mid-40's in the original series...

Youngest member of the core cast is George Takei (Born 1937), with Walter Koenig a year ahead of him (1936).  You don't want to know how old the ladies are now...
