Ok, here is the deal. There is no way I can play on D2. If you guys can come up w/ a way to help me. Port numbers would help.

It is not working.

I have it as follows:

2300 - 2400 TCP
2300 -2400 UDP
47624 - 47624 TCP

I am still getting the firewall msg.

Well next you could make sure dplaysvr.exe and starfleet2.exe are added to the firewall exception list on the pc.

Lastly, there is a tool:

http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm

And it will help you to verify if your router / firewall are set up correctly. If the tool says the ports are open, well, we can move on from there.

OK. I'll bite. What IP address on the lan do you have the ports forwarded to?

Strat, sorry for the long absence. I have checked the ports. I will work on them either today or tomorrow. Btw, that tool is quite handy, ty.

I have redone my port forwarding on my router and everything is in the green. Strat, thank you for your help w/ suggesting that little program. It is a lifesaver. Kudos +1

I will be reinstalling EAW soon enough. I need to get back into blowing up things. ;D
