Newbie In Need Of Help
« on: June 16, 2011, 01:40:36 pm »
Hi! I'm new here so please be kind.

I was wondering if anyone could give me a hand. I'm trying to install new ship models into SFC1, SFC2, and SFC:OP. I'm not getting anywhere fast. Can anyone out there give me a hand or point me in the right direction?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Here's a couple of links that should help:

http://www.staryards.com/tools.htm
(under Starfleet Command Modding Tools)

http://www.strategyplanet.com/sfc/sfc1/faq_mod.shtml
(step by step instructions)

and if you get to where you want to experiment with creating your own,

http://www.dynaverse.net/forum/index.php/topic,163389842.0.html

and . . . welcome, by the way!

Welcome spectre :) and thanks Northern star for posting a reply so quickly.

I should probably make another video tutorial explaining the best ways to get your models in game >.< but yeah, the links that Northern Star linked are good guides :)

People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

Just want to say thanks for all the help.

I've seen those mod tools before. I wondered what they were for, now I know.

The Step By Step instructions at Starfleet Universe ought to be a major help. I'll probably be back anyway.

Thanks again!
