Quantum Torp Textures

Does anyone have/know of any SFC2 textures for quantum torpedoes?  I'm thinking of using F-Plasma for them and will just change every other non-Fed ship to G-Plasma.

There are weapons texture packs at battleclinic and once you get them you can see how they are done and create your own

Plasmas and Photorps use a slightly different rendering technique. Plasmas are a sprite with a sprite particle emitter - photorps use a sprite combined with a spinning piece of geometry (at least, as far as I can tell). You'll have to play with it, but it's definitely possible to make a plasma look like a photorp. Chris Jones did this on a few of his mods.

My only concern is that I don't want EVERY plasma to look like a torpedo but just the Fs.  How...problematic...will this be?

It won't be. Each plasma uses a different texture. Plas-Fs use the Green-Plasma, so if you change that, you should be good.

I tried using on that I found but the sprite is showing as a big white box-like-thing when I use them in a campaign.  Suggestions?

did you try renaming the texture? the one doing the replacing needs to be named the same as the one beeing replaced

Yes, it's renamed for the green plasma that's normally Gs...
