an amazing story and some even more amazing photos. nasa's "swift" satellite has captured images from the star GRB 110328A. this star was destroyed as it fell into a black hole and "torn apart". nearly 4 billion light years away, this star peaked at 1 trillion times brighter than our sun during the event.  also detected was a massive gamma ray burst that usually accompanies events like this. read about this from 3 different sites.
