Topic: Newbie needs help

It looks really awesome! I'm really impressed by it.

That said, somewhere along the line it became a "wasp" instead of a "Hawk".. 
but I like the shape of the front pods better than the "missile pods" shapes the original Hawk had.
And where the Hawk had two "boosters" on the side, your ships has 1 pod, more like the Eagles had. One of the cooler thing about the Eagles was the changeable pod, so the idea of a sort of "engine pod" that attaches around the spine works for me.

Again, really great! Can we see a bottom angle yet?

That was an "oops" calling it a Wasp instead of a Hawk.. but calling it a Mark VI Wasp could make it a good transition between Eagle and Hawk, sort of a prototype to the Hawk.  I'd be good with that.. then also bring this mesh a bit closer to the Hawk with those other boosters and missle pods.

Bottom texture still has some placeholder texture markups on it.. I'll clean that up and then do a bottom shot.

But glad that you like it, am doing up the request for yourself and Bernard (and anyone else that might be looking for this I guess)..

If we were a more loosely-knit community I'd move stuff around, but you guys pretty much handle yourselves pretty well - so, I see no need to interfere , besides, I enjoy watching people deviate from a given topic in a thread (assuming that the original poster doesn't mind) - it's good to get seemingly unattached data into the discussion, as that can lead to some interesting ideas/results. ie: this .

If people wish, I can spin the Hawk into its own thread.. or maybe we can then bring it back on topic with trying to add it back into his game through Shipedit once complete.

I just find it funny that this is pretty much how it works around here:
thread goes off topic
or dies quickly
or becomes a multi-topic thread that developes a life of its own then takes half of what you did in the Divorce

Probably best as Help threads are the only ones that should stay on topic as they are used as reference.
The only other problem is when a searching for a model it wouold be nice to have it as its' own topic so you can find it

Two replies say yes.. so new thread it is for the Hawk.  Still have all the WIP shots so good to go there.
