Yeap been playing it for a little while. Figured you guys already knew about it. It is though in open beta, but still not bad. I am on Caprica server. I'm a colonial and the cylons are outnumbered on this server. There is lots of good PvP fights though.

Are there contrived "empowered" female characters? The new BSG was unwatchable. I imagine the game is similarly unplayable.

Think so? I very much enjoyed the new BSG. At least JJ did a much better job of ending it then he did on Lost...

Lost was funny.  ;D  So lame. It could have been so wonderfully evil. It needed a hand like Stephen King's back in the eighties.

Though I do admit the promos for the later episodes of the new BSG did look tempting, but still, I would not watch. I tried once or twice, but the soap opera sex interests were just too over the top. I had to change the channel within minutes of exposure. A physical reaction almost. Porn and sci-fi don't mix, despite Heinlein's "achievements". ;)

It's like: lets make Kirk a woman, in a play for the payola demographic. Not going to work. At all.

Actually, "Tripping the Rift" is as close as porn-sci-fi gets to working, but only because it is firmly tounge-in-cheek. Sexy sci-fi just cannot be presented seriously. It falls down every time. At that, most comedic sexy-sci-fi is pretty pathetic. "Tripping the Rift" works because of the black humour.

unless it's a joke I don't get.. ya know... JJ, as in Abrahams? Had nothing to do with BSG....

That was RD Moore, previously of DS9.

All things being equal, IMHO, Lost only got bad in the last 15 minutes, whereas the whole last season of BSG... ugh

problem with BSG was actually the second to last season - RD Moore got a lot of pressure from execs about content - then when said execs said "oh crap, we've broken it" RD Moore had no choice but to pack a bunch of content into the last season.

That is where you went to as I don't see you on Heaven Tear sever and the TW map has been reset.

@Bonk, I would imagine that all females look good in the game and all want to be the hot blonde Starbuck.
