Federation Endeavour class WIP
« on: January 17, 2011, 09:07:27 am »
this is the class of heavy cruisers which brought the linear warp revolution to the Federation fleet and later marked the end of the class 1 era.
the model itself has 2109 polys and uses 4 textures, which i have to finish yet. cause of the timeperiod this class entered service i added some design elements from the Phase 2 Constitution model, the impulsedrive is one of those.

Very nice but arnt the engines a tad bit big? they look that way to me nohow.

And how did you keep the count so low? I can tell the saucer is low poly but are all the phaser and lights textures as well?.

the model is made with some schematics i have found on the net and the proportions are like on those schematics. the phasers and lights are in the texture but this should be clearly visible as the textures aren't  done completely yet.  ;)

Nice work there Terradyhne

Nice looking ship

Since you are still working on it, you might want to shift the purple on the saucer to more of a blue-gray to better match the gray you are using for the hull and then see if you can tie them together with a strip on the neck and secondary hull

out of curiousity what do you do your textures with?
People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

Remember the axiom of big government bureaucrats: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. When, finally, under the crushing weight of taxes and regulation, it stops moving, subsidize it.
