I just had a very strange conversation...

it went like this....

Dynaverse made the multiplayer wrong because you should just be able to launch the game and see a list of all the games being hosted, now it does have a list, but like i said they only show up if there on the same lan.

OP has a list too but it won't work to see all the games on the net, you only can see the one game your connecting to.
Well i think it might be possible to fix it..

In the ini there is codes in there for the ip address section, like this Entry#1=Local Area Network.
so say... maybe something like this might fix it Entry#2=Net
Now I'm not a programmer so I don't know the correct code to fix it..that's even if it could be done.

Now if a correct code is entered it might just work, I know it works on lan. it would show multiple games being hosted at the same time, then you would just choose the one ya want to join.
Now it won't work if the game is already in progress and playing, but if they have not started playing yet then it would work..

It could be something as simple as Entry#2=Wan...

[is this a true statement and could this be a simple fix to incorporate into 4.1?]

Doubtful its just a list of favorited IPs and LAN is given as a shortcut since a lot back when OP came out wouldnt want to know the difference between an internal lan ip and external wan ip, so lan is default given there, mainly direct TCP/IP games dont broadcast themselves to the world which is why there's no list, unless your tied into GSA.  The games only list if you end up searching that IP for the game if its not tied into GSA game listing server.
