first off is a story about a hotly debated design of a wind powered cart that can apparently go faster than the wind powering it. read about it here:

next up for scotty fans!!! not exactly transparent aluminum but it is a transparent conductive material! this means that someday we can have windows that generate solar power!

and finally my favorite story. i have been following this guy's exploits for a while now and i love him, some call him crazy, i call him genius. he is the guy who built a custom jetpack/wing and even flew over the english channel with it. now he has improved his design and jumped out of a hot-air balloon and did two loops to prove it!
