Topic: Streaming video question (for a friend of mine.)

Ok, here is the set up. A friend has a ton of movies on his PC, but wants to view them on his laptop. Now, he can use videoLAN, as long as he is their to turn on the Video on his PC, but sometimes, he is down at the corner drinking a cup of joe.

now will something like Remote PC be of any use, in that he can connect, load up a file, and view it where he is?

Is there any other options available?

Both Machines have windows media center BTW.

Suggestions guys?
