really old Klingons
« on: May 11, 2010, 09:26:08 am »
I may be wrong but I remember from long ago some pre TOS Klingons, they might have been for SFC1.they were mostly "balls" as the hulls with engines ect added on.I think they were red in color. For some reason the name "Barbell class" stands out.there were a few different ones.I don't remember the author unfortunatly.Does anyone else remember these? and if so anyone have them who would be willing to share? Thanks in advance for any help.

Can't really recall which ones you are talking about. Were they original designs, or did they come from the starfleet museum

'Fraid I don't have any of Makotokat's stuff. Maybe some others might have backups?

Makato Cat along with Fabio Pasario [sp?] was one of the fellows converted the first Lt. Kevin Riley's USS Phobos (TMP Loknar) from LWO to mod format. Yes Makato did a bunch of pre-TOS starfleet museum ships. Unfortunately, I can't find his old site anymore.

I think the OLD Klingon fleet refers to the Drell Pre-Tos/SFB style fleet. Sadly, I lost that fleet after a bunch of my Model collection CDs became corrupted. :(

Were they in this style: http://www.starfleet-museum.org/klingon1.htm ?

I know there are a few Romulan and Federation ships of this style around, but I don't recall any of the Klingons.  Having said that, it looks like Terra did the D6.

I remember those to and they were not SF Museum designs, they looked more like fitting to those romulan war era SF Museum Fed designs in terms of design and era.

@MajorRacal  no they were not from the museum, but thanks for the help.

@Terradyhne yes they were Earth-Romulan war era,and they were spherical in shape for the most part.I think they were red in color.

I hope someone has them on a dusty old back up disk somewhere.

found 2 really old disks that had SFC models on them,I'm pretty sure that they have those models on them but unfortunatly they are unreadable :( I'll let this update serve as a one time bump.If anyone thinks they have these maybe they could upload them to battleclinic or something.Anyway thanks for your time.
