OK so I am running a single player campaign. I made the changes so i could read the damage readout on the other ships, but no joy.. for a year.

So now I boot the game, my campaign disappears, I start a new one, and ... now I can see the damage readouts...for a day.

Now on another day I boot the game, and its back to the old campaign and no damage readout.

Crazy, man!

Strange. I don't know what could be causing it, but have you tried using EZini to turn on the vollyinfo? And does the new campaign still work with vollyinfo or both of them don't have it?

I could never get the first one to work w/ vollyinfo. The new campaign showed the vollyinfo. Now I am back to the old campaign and no vollyinfo.

This is all in conjunction with trying to get my computer to recognize a printer, and i had turned the user account control on and off a few times in conjunction with updating the driver. But when I booted the game, the user account control was back on.

Are there two sets of game settings in there somewhere?
