Facebook Dyna group?
« on: February 11, 2010, 11:48:12 am »
Just for the heck of it . . . has anyone thought about making a Facebook group or fan page devoted to Dynaverse.net? I'm sure it would get a good number of members and might be useful for people who haven't played SFC or been to the forums in a while, but are still interested.

If you go there.. I stopped seriously going to Facebook after the second UI change I got slapped with and realized that they couldn't care less whether or not people liked it.   ::)

And I don't tweet either.. email works best for me, and I'm at these forums at least once a day.  But maybe I'm the exception..

no you're not the exception.  Maybe not the rule either, but certainly not the exception, I'm here two to four times a day depending on my work schedule.  Facebook... well, they changed their UI again recently, and while they are trying, it is getting annoying.  I wish they'd do a "Classic" layout, to let us ease into the new UI.

I wonder why they don't, since they never seem to add anything with the new UIs, only move things around. My guess is just that they know that many of their users are hooked enough that they wouldn't ever leave because of things like UI changes, and so they can get away with anything.

i say go for it! make the group and then post it here. you can then select a few of the higher ups to be admins, frey and i are both on facebook. personally i use facebook to just keep track of friends so this would be perfect.
