My chops were not as fast...[but] I just leaned more on what was in my mind than what was in my chops.  I learned a long time ago that one note can go a long way if it's the right one, and it will probably whip the guy with twenty notes.

As I posted in another thread..the only problem is the scale..I'm used to 24"..this one is 27"..but it sounds good

Can understand that, you will have to play like a noob for awhile and watch your hand as the feel of the position is going to be way (at least anough) off to make you hit wrong notes.  How is the dual strings on it, I have never gotten a feel for that style.

Actually not bad, but then I've owned 12 string guitars for like 40 years..

I have added  a bass chorus stomp box for a little extra effect, but only for certain songs when the drummer at church doesn't show.

wow that is a sweet bass dude! very nice. heh get a chorus pedal too and you will freak out people thinking there are 4 people playing at least!

i would love to get a fly bass. those things are awesome. i also kinda like the john entwhistle signature bass.

I do have the chorus box, used it at church last Sunday, I thought the music director was going to come unhinged..but I'm the only bass player, so I can push the envelope..

It's fun to play, but as I said, the longer scale takes some getting used to, so it's practice, practice, practice
