Topic: Windows 7 MakeItSo: How to activate NO CD mode? (Read 2017 times)

I just replaced my computer with one with Windows 7 (they don't sell them with XP anymore). Of course the first bit of software I installed was SFCIII an its patch. I made the MakeItSo adjustment to sfc.ini, but I still get the message to load the CD. An inconvenience, because I am lazy and hate having to dig out the CD from its environment-controlled, fire-proof box every time I want to play.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Even better . . . has anyone resolved this problem?

you can't get win7 with xp mode any more? That sucks. was hoping to get that on mine.

No, he was saying that he couldn't get a new PC with XP anymore. As for the MakeItSo, did you simply put MakeItSo or MakeItSo=1.

Hey guys, thanks for replying. I was right in what I had added, "MakeItSo=1", as that tag was already in the patch. I ran it in XP SP3 compatibility mode and the crack worked fine. I wouldn't have thought to do that if you guys did not reply here. THANKS!
