Awesome a new adversary ship!

I think it looks to wide and *Wrong word* thick to be a mere fighter.

Keep going... ;)

that would make a very good light attack ship such as a frigate, if you were to take it that way may i suggest you sweep the outer tip edge of the wings in just a tad to give the tips of the wings more of the talon hook look if you will.

I see  a perfect reman bob there  No mater what race it looks like keep your ideas.  It looks low poly enough for a fighter , i would texture this up as a fighter variant and continue to create a heavy or larger with the design. But thats me  :crazy2: Good work so far no matter what.

I'm not to sure about it. Maybe if you taper the thiness of the of the wing tops. Right now everything tends to look a bit chunky. Other than that a great start.

i agree, just a though try thinning out the points on the leading edge of the wing sorta like a knife blade look and see how it works, that will give it the flowing look and tie it all together, just leave the back edge a little more thick then the front leading edge but still round it to a blunt point sorta like a egg and see how that works out.

Personally, I don't think the head works for a Reman ship.  Nevertheless, here is a quick look at a Reman paint job on the ole girl.

That looks good  I agree with you all on the head but if you move that distinct Romulan point faceing down -forward a bit it should help out on the Reman look. I am just blowing some wind here but" I see 4 uses for the mesh/art as it stands now" Romulan fighter , Reman bop {with a few mesh changes} and Cylon advanced fighter {with few mesh changes} and Batman Batwing jet {with a few mesh changes}  " . For the batman/Cylon look if you ever wish to try it pull out the center verts /make the wings have sharp edges, lenghen the main hull point the front out a bit and add a mesh cut in for the Cylon eye or Batwing add a cockpit and conventional engine types. Too much info Go Romulan !  :)

What do you all think?  Lights or no lights?  If lights what color, considering she may have a Reman slant.

I like the lights a lot. Were you planning on doing lights all around, including the sides of the nacelles? I always liked the bright green D'deridex light scheme, pretty much what you are starting right now, but maybe the nacelles and some panels would be brighter green when you got to them.

The more I thought about it the less I liked the idea of the small lights.  Here's where I am headed with it at the moment.  The greenish windows seems good to me.

Just a though but the big lights make the ship feel, well small, delta flyer small, the small lights give a feel about the ship like you dont have to worry about banging your head on some overhead nut or bolt, and thus plenty of room, maybe you can find a happy middle such as small lights with a large gathering room window(such as 10 forward or something)for a good view of things to be blown to bits :knuppel2:

well I've only one comment and one question...
1-where are the warp nacelles(if integrated, then where?  If nacelles, then were do you plan on adding them)? I ask cause there are a lot of cool things you can do, like adding a lower wing(creating a curved bi-plane configuration) in which 1-2 nacelles could be attached to.... Or if they are integrated, then would they be in the wings, to give them purpose...
2-if you go with separate nacelles, then you can thin out the height of the wings so that they become thinner the further they go towards the tips.  If again they are integrated into the wings themselves then I would opt the opposite, by thickening the wings a bit to store the extra bulk that would be the nacelle.

Egads, I totally forgot about nacells.  If it stays a fighter, are nacells required?  If integrated into the wing, would this look reasonable location wise?

well based on the windows, I'd say the ship is runnabout-size in length, that means that she should have warp nacelles.

great work as usual keep it up. as for the nacelles maybe slightly extrude the wing area and create a front and rear grillwork.

Well other than resolving the nacell issue this baby is done.  I did throw the nacells (or at least I think there are nacells) from the Reman Saif on her.  THey actually looked good so I may make some along those lines.  Still not so sure.

To be honest, I totally forgot about this poor little shippy.  I wonder if this would work as a scout class vice figther, adding a nacell of sorts under each wing.

Why the nacelles do look cool.... Reman designs seem to have the nacelles built into either the wings or main hull.... I think having them underslung like that is too much of a romulan trait...
Maybe moving them to the sides of the main hull above the wings... It should help tie the design in with the Scimiter and the Saif that Raven designed.

Speaking of the Saif, I took the pods that were under her wings, resized them and placed them on here to see what they would look like.  I am not sure if those were meant to be nacell or what but I kind of like them.  I could easily remake and retexture them to match this one better but hopefully this gives a general idea of how they look.  I also thined out the entire fuselage some to see how that might look.  It looks a bit more streamlined to me.  Thoughts?
