I like 21b, 27, and 29 but I'm not sure I'd use the others on bashes. I do agree with your idea fo tying a series of ship designs together by using the same nacelles on them. That's what I did for my shadow fleet (and more to follow if I ever find time).

Are you going to make yours available for download for bashers to use as parts like WZ does on his site.

No one has ideas or suggestions?
Maybe some criticism?

Just a thought or two..

Criticism first.  ;)

Your 21b nacelle, have you tried your glowy bussard texture from your 27 on it?  That white ring is a bit jarring..

Curious about the almost standalone globe for your glowy on the front of the 28.. and the reason for the length of the tapered back end..

Blue glow on the inside of the support tubing on the back of the 29 seems a bit overkill?

Maybe tone down the meet point on the front of the nacelle from the solid orange to blend it in a bit better with the darker coour?

Points I really like..

Your inside blue tubing structure on the inside of the nacelle looks crisp and sharp..

The bussard glowie on your JJ inspired nacelle looks awesome and nicely done..

I can see your lowest nacelle design flipped upside down and placed on a Pre or TOS era Steamrunner or Sabre idea.

Your 27, if the top blue was moved to the bottom, would make an awesome nacelle for an early (maybe J class) tug..

All in all, I really like these and can see these being used for kitbashes easily.  :D
..ooOOoo..totally useless information..ooOOoo..

Well, if you want my "personal" opinion, the only TOS nacelles I like out of this bunch is the "Type FW 27".  They looks simple and to the point, yet have a bit of style to them.   :)  I also like the warp grid on top of the nacelle too, makes it seem like more of a direct evolution to the Excelcior class nancelles.  The only suggestion I would make is to use TMP markings and lettering.

Sorry, just not into the other nacelle types.   :-\

After some thought, I would like to say that the the type "FW 26" engines might be a good design aswell.  But its kinda hard to get a feel for them without any textures on them.

Now that's a large assortment of Connies, and the Miranda is a nice start.
The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.

Fallen_Warrior, the reason why I suggested a TMP lettering and texture scheme is that I always felt the TMP era trimming was better then the TOS era.  I beleive that you can improve a TOS (or any early ship) if you use TMP era trimming because it always felt like a more professional feel to the model.  Just my opionin.

Out of the warp engines I have seen so far, I'm really only impressed with the type FW 27, but with some modifications.  As stated before, I would use a TMP lettering and texture design, but I would also slightly change the mesh too.  How about moving the "curved" parts above and below the Ram Scoops more forward of the engine, that might make the design a little more streamlined in my opinion.  Also, the back part is ok, but I think it might need to be adjusted aswell, just not sure how.   :-\  Perhaps making the back end of the naccel the same width as the front of th engine so it follows a "straight line" pattern.  Just a idea for the back end of the FW 27.

I would like to suggest the following modification to the FW29 design aswell.  I think if you modify the forward part of the mesh, it might make the whole warp engine a good layout.  Here is what I mean...

I hope the pic loads correctly.  Anyway, I think if you modify it according to the picture above, it might make for an interesting design for TOS warp engines.

Fallen_warrior, sorry about the mix up on engines.  Your right, my picture modification is for the FW 26, not type 29.  Looked at the wrong number.   ::)

Perhaps if you did the modification, you should call it a whole new engine design.
