I know it lacks detail and is kinda ugly at the moment what with all the jagged edges, im gonna smooth those out later on.

For the life of me i cant figure how the f*ck i did the lower supports for the rollbar so i just removed that part of the ship :(

btw, ive made this model entire out of basics (boxes, cylinders and balls).

no worries, this will take a while.
I made the original model in 03, and the person I made the model for has been egging me about it ever since so I think he can wait a few more days/weeks :p

what sort of details should i add to the model, btw? keep sh*t simple, I cant modify any of the basics (model details "in")  but I can create stuff on the surface.

Well, take a look at the ambassador (I am assuming that the era is about right for that, yes?)
I think the only thing you are missing is a shuttlebay

Very nice, and i see you have some aroenef looking air ships on page 1, i picked up on intersteller machine's air ship conversion mod for SFC 2(with his permision and help), if you want to help with the models or idea's that would be awsome.(just PM me) My progress on the over all mod will be updated (almost) daily with the problems i run into and how to get around them etc in the starfleet command mods tab under main.

Okay, maybe i should take a look at it... yeah its the same era :)
Must say I cant see where a shuttlebay could possibly go unless there was a second hull?

plausible, but i think i'll just have them textured on the sides of the bottom torp launcher, just that much easier :)
im going to try and see how much of that i can actually model in / on.

Saucer shape and nacelles are the dead give away, but I guess that is the entire model.
