It's gonna be an epic fail.   The first one had the shock value of the aliens really being reptiles.   That's not here.

It could avoid teh epic phail if they had a couple of good characters. So far they are all putting me to sleep. Anna is hot but other than that she's about as interesting as a blow up doll.

The one character who is remotely interesting is the news reporter, but his Michael J Fox mojo is creeping me out.

It is not the original V that's for sure, and it is slow, By this time in the original Mini series 9hour 2) the Nazi insights where already there.

The young kid had turned on his parents big time, threatening to expose them, etc. etc.

I don't know, I'll wait and see how the rebelion goes, or get's off the ground, But yeah it is way to slow for my tastes.

Fed, I am going to ask you ONE more time. Keep the politics in H&S.

You want to start (or post) a political commentary about a TV show, it goes there.

Last warning.

I don't know your previous history with Fed but his comment was not really politcal it was just fact if you watched the orginal show.
If he was posting politcal commentary it would sound a little like this. This show is written by a bunch of Nancy liberal pinkos.

Or this show was written by some conservative neanderthal that thinks the rapture is comming and god is going to save him.

I think you should cut him some slack this time. :)

It's really very simple. If your post has political content, it goes in Hot and Spicy.

Ah, what if the show is entirely a political comment?  Makes it kind of tough to discuss it in any other manner.

That said, the show is tripe. You sense it when Elizabeth Mitchell is shown showering or some such not so far into the show, as well as a scene wherein she is seen coming out of bed, and on several occasions the shot is wide enough to show her ass walking it tight jeans.  Arousal schemes such as this are red flags to me that your show sucks.

Yeah, but 7of9 was soo hot in that suit! (the ass shots were rare and precious)

Or what's that show that totally sucks but has the very hot very wholesome girl in it with nary an ass shot? Oh, yes, JAG. I can watch a whole episode and not be able to tell you a single thing that happened.

Now BSG, it just went too far. I could not even watch it. It wasn't the sex sells so much as the contrived "empowered woman of the future" character that has taken over in SF. Aren't women insulted by this crap? As a man I am not fooled.

Show me sci-fi with women in a leadership/powerful/central role that is not contrived, but natural feeling and I will show you a good story.

JAG didn't TOTALLY suck, but yeah, it needed way more gratuitous Catherine Bell. Thank god she did a spread in one of those pseudo-pr0n mags.

Back on topic -  V has as much action of the "Golden Girls."   Something has to happen soon one way or the other.

FHM, and it was a while ago. I'm sure you can GIS it.

This week's was much better IMHO. The "assassin" being a V was predictable but the bit with Dale and the doctor caught me off guard.

Captain/Major/Colonel Carter, Stargate SG-1/Stargate Atlantis.  Aside from her very first scene in the very first episode of SG-1, her character wasn't contrived in the least.
