My grandfather was a seabee in WW2, so he had no cause to criticize my service in the Army NG, but he still was a jerk who went out of his way to make my life miserable every chance he got till the day I told him to piss off. He finally got the message: he was injured in a training exercise and never shipped overseas, while I was activated for Desert Shield/Storm and did my job.
