Absolutely bad ass!

The paint scheme for the Starfleet Intelligence version is in line with Starfleet [at least FASA Trek] policy to allow for some customization of ships for morale purposes [e.g., the Chandley Class USS Blackheart] on deep space missions...

Time to readjust my spec file and to add those rear firing weapons to my Chandley's.

Nicely done!

No problem guys. I'll go ahead and include those textures. I'll come up with an appropriate name for the Intelligence Northamptom. Something that is in line with its espionage roll.
 USS Langley or  USS Keyhole?
I'm open to suggestions.

BTW, if anyone wants to they can download a Northampton beta with these textures right now. Tell me of any defects in the mesh. You'll notice I've fixed the mesh hole on the aft end of the starboard pylon. Also, I still need to fix some mapping on the bottom and front of the shoulder or wing or whateveer that non-saucer part of the hulll is called.

I just started a download of it, so Nightsoft is up right now. Shouldn't have any problems if you can see my signature and avatar. If not.......wait a while and the server will come back up.

Pataflafla, I like the planet that your Northampton is orbiting. Any chance you could either get us the textures to redo a stock planet or point us to where we can get the textures for that great terraformed moon?

Looks like it was created with LunarCell, by Flaming Pear Software ( http://www.flamingpear.com/ ) - a very nifty plugin for Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.  Just plug in the parameters you want - land and sea color, atmosphere, cratering, sun angle, etc - and it automagically renders you a fractal planet or moon.  I highly recommend it.

I'm not sure how you'd go about converting the result to a proper planet texture, though.  LunarCell generates round images, not cylinders.

Here are some final pics. All I have left is hp/dp, two more registries and a brk model which I'll do tomorrow.

All the remapping is done so now she looks good from the bottom. Also added a texture so the aft nav lights would have the correct colors on the correct sides. Revamped that Starfleet Intelligence variant a little so the black stripes have a plating texture to them instead of just pure black. Should be out tomorrow.

BIG BUMP!

Hmm... I liked the straight black on the Starfleet Intelligence version better IMHO, However, their all GREAT so release them soon please.

On another note Pataflafla,  here's what I did to the USS Fife regarding the rear firing torpedos:

Excellent work sir!
