covert mesh to SFC format

Ok ive got a deadulas mesh I want to use in SFC problem is all textures are part of the .3ds model, and I have no idea how to extract the textures.

here is the mesh I want to use, anyone have any idea lol. Tring to do this in gmax.

I can delete all textures but then I need to learn how to retexture lol

but texture less saved as a .mod it wont load in mod viewer, could anyone help ive been looking for a decent quality deadulas model

There are no textures. The polygons are actually done in color. I'm not sure how to describe it. It could be converted, not by gmax though, with a bit of work (UV map it and bake the colors onto texture maps), but the real problem is it's too hipoly. It's 90,000+ polys. The game wouldn't be able to render it fast enough for real time.

hmm that sucks, ive been wanting a deadalus class for SFC with the ribs but also with a high poly sphere, and i can never find both, or when I do the game wont support it lol

agreed and I love making textures for this class, as a matter of fact if anyone is willing, your free to use my block 1 textures or I can modify them to fit a Block2 that was in Federation service

Block1 was Romulan war 2156-2161 Block 2 is 2161-2196 when it was decommisioned, I just did block 1 cause no one else ever made block 1 textures lol. But if anyone wants to make it that would be awesome its the most underated ship ever
