Topic: Is there a .mod Import/Export plug-in for 3D Studio Max 9? (Read 4771 times)

Topic. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, that the plug-in only exists for versions 3, 4, and 5, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

But there´s a workaround...

In Milkshape, you can save as a ".nif" and, exists a Nif importer for 3ds max 9.

Pretty much it either you have Max 3-5, or you end up having to use Milkshape or GMax to do the exporting

If you want to export from max 9 to .mod theres no problem export from max 9 use 3ds and import that in free gmax to get a .mod, the issues are importing .mod files to max9 readable. Milkshape also has a 3ds exporter and exports to other max 9 readable formats that seem to work ok so nif is not the only option if there are any issues with the nif files that is.
