Hey my modeling gurus, are tutorials meant for 3DSMAX usable for GMAX too?

Just asking because there are some tuts out there that I was wanting to try in GMAX.

Enquiring minds want to know.

Most 3dmax modeling tuts will work for gmax only few things like texture stuff were changed as far as i can tell. oh and no render which sucks the most.
