Dynaverse ESPN Fantasy Football Season
« on: August 07, 2009, 06:34:00 pm »
Steve sent me a message asking if we are going to play again this year. I am game if we get enough players.

Is there interest in one more season? We had trouble getting ten people last year and we'll need 10 to do it this year.

Please let me know!

Cool! We are up to 5! That's half way home!

We only need 5 more, but it's a long 5 yards (feels like 3rd down!)

Looking forward to the draft.  Someone told me to take P.Manning, Wayne and Addai in my first three rounds.  Said you'd appreciate this love for the Colts  ;)

Do we have 10?

Ack!  I think I can still make it.  Just bought a house.  The darn thing took about 3 months to close.  Just ridiculous, but now all the work needs to be done.  Aaaargh!  Rest assured, even if I accidentally get an amazing team I'll find a way to battle my way to the bottom of the division! ;)

Man, I expected a much worse team.  I did set some auto draft settings, but I was in shock when I got both Brandom Marshall and Kyle Orton.  I'm a Broncos fan, but I hate Orton and I'm really not sure what's going to happen with Marshall.  Wow.  Good luck everyone, I hope you fall on your faces, because that's what it's going to take for me to win! :D

... 73 points from Chris Johnson.  197 yds rushing, 87 receiving, 3 TDs.

Still liked Drew Brees' 44 points for 6 TDs last week.

I really wish I had Brees again this year, he is great for fantasy football.  I got 38 from Andre Johnson, doubt that will happen much.  Thought I was sitting good this week until I realized that Mrs. W. still has Manning tonight.  lol  Hope he throws to his tightend a lot.

The Beer Force took one on the chin this week, but the injured players I drafted are starting to come back, so the future is not as dire as I predicted, I think.  It can't be any worse than last week, when they smelled up the joint.  >:(

I've had a fun week enjoying how my 1-1 club somehow is considered second best in the entire league earning me the 9th position in the waiver wire... :P

Now to see if I can make it to 2-1 and actually earn my position as #2 in league... ;)
