I've also found that it is best to have the BIOS settings as close to the defaults as possible.  Sometimes settings optimized for performance have blocked the install of an OS.

Depending on what games can be played on Win 7 I may just install that but if some older games can't play on 7.I will be installing a second HDD with it on it.


To Pestalence if you talk to Microsoft can you tell them to but downloader for IE like what FF as for downloads them all.
