I'm feeling gracious today.

Tools...Account Settings...Add Account.

It will prompt you for the password on first connection with an option to save (I can't imagine why anyone would though).

I do. But no one else has physical access to the machine.

Until it is stolen, lost, break-in, thrown out, recycled... I never let any application store a password. It kind of defeats the purpose. But them I am probably a little extra paranoid about passwords as a site admin.

In which case the access to the E-Mail account is the least of my concerns. It isn't used for business just personal. The loss of the computers (4 of them if my laptop is at home) is the major issue. HDs are rarely thrown out but reformatted and passed on to other computers (reformatted with Linux file systems even if the ultimate use is to be Windows).

What would be more annoying is losing the E-Mail addresses and the multi year archive of my E-Mail exchanges as well as all my other accumulated data (only some of which is on a thumbdrive). The laptop which is not always secured does not have my E-mail archive or my passwords. Only the secured computers and a thumbdrive which is always either A/ securely locked away or B/ on my person.
