F-111C?  Man!  I haven't flown a virtual 'Vark since Strike Aces back in the late '80's.

I've loved those planes since I bought a 'Military Airpower' magazine when I was in elementary school and one was on the cover (It had an in-depth article on El Dorado Canyon).  They seem very 'un-simulated', but the aforementioned (and not terribly good) Strike Aces allowed you to fly an F model if you so chose.  I preferred it over the F-15E cuz the Strike Eagle seemed a bit twitchy (was flying with a keyboard).

If that things free, it may provide enough impetus for me to break down and buy FSX.  May have to sneak it past the fiancee, as she seems to start giving me 'the look' if more than one game appears in the house within a certain span of time. ;D

We just bought a car.  More on that later... ;D

We actually don't argue about money;  I get 'the look' because she's a semi-gamer herself and will actually use the phrase 'but you haven't even finished xxx' yet.  She understands the concept of sandbox games and free-roam sims, but doesn't find them terribly interesting herself.  She thinks video games reached their high point with Shadowgate.

The lack of a Virtual Cockpit doesn't bother me much.

Really nice work.

When I see a picture of a Bear from a flight sim, the first question I gotta ask is...what does she sound like?

Haven't quite got the hang of choppers yet, bro.

This simulator is extremely realistic.    As a matter of fact, I've just started flipping switches and making various settings in the VC.

Check it out ....

Out of curiosity, has anyone picked up and installed this sim?   If yes, have you tried landing a 747 yet?    8)

I haven't yet Fed, But after doing some reading on Multi Monitor set ups, I came across this.

http://www.wideview.it/wideview.htm

Now I can just see you using that set up bro.

BTW, is Saitek still the way to go with those sims?

Cool beans. Yeah I kept meaning to tell ya about that, and just kept forgetting.

Cool on the Saitek though. I've been giving them a close eye myself.

I've had the standard version for a while although I don't have it installed at the moment.  As for Joysticks, I use a Saitek Cyborg Evo.

Drooooollll Droooooooooooooolllll.....

 ::)

Man - I actually have FSX Deluxe but my comp is toooooo old school to handle it yet....

The latest issue of Computer Pilot gave the Unlimited Traffic 2 add-on a top rating due - blowing away all the other traffic expansions.

Anyone try that yet??

Anyone check out thos computer pilot mags? - There are like two different one's - usually at Barnes and Nobels B&M Stores - and they both rock!

So Jealous...... At least I can get my Il-2 on - that game is amazing as well...
