Greetings,

Watched star trek the other day and it took me back almost 10 years to my SFC days so I decided to search around and see who is still playing. Before I buy SFC2: OP, how many people would you say play on a good weekend? I'm not trying to spend a whole lot of time in something that is completely dead. I also see that some of you are trying to put together SFC4 which would be amazing.

Any help would be much appreciated!

sadly, not as many people play as should. I haven't been on the new server for awhile so can't say how many. But getting SFC up and running is a nice distraction when needed.

Don't worry, SFC2:OP is not completely dead and I can't expect it to get to that any time soon, but we would love to get more players. The most I can remember in about the past two months was about 20 to 25. Some of those people were away or otherwise not playing, but there are times when two 3v3 rooms are going on. I can't remember a time when it was a Friday or Saturday night and we didn't have at least one 3v3 game going on. Things usually start up around 9 PM and people all kind of leave around 12 AM.

And I think more are re-disovering SFC lately too. I'm pitching it all my friends who strangely never heard of it.

Yeh I was a big into SL, GZ, Afcub league play back in the day as well as posting on the taldren forums. I'll be looking for a copy of OP so I can get in on some of this action!
