has anyone done a port of this http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Luna_Class;98591 for sfc3, ive not been on for years and lost most of mystuff of raw models :(, so was wondering if someone ported this over

I remember this one from looooong time ago.  This was the book cover winner.

Don't believe that anyone had ported it over, or if they did, it wasn't mentioned in threads I've been in.  It could be done now easier than then, but so far.. noone has released it for SFC 3/2/1 that I'm aware of..

if you have milkshape all you need to do is import the nif and export to mod. it will take care of everything else if you don't want HP and DPs on the ship. The ship will get allot lighter though there is a bug in milkshapes import/export that causes this, talk to Centrus about that he figured out how to fix the bug in 3DMax.

To get HPs' and DPs' on it import a ship delete the model and then merge this one to it. You will have to select a few of the points to move them onto the model, then you can export it ready to go.

Your best bet to get it done is probably to ask StarForce2 to do it for you, he has done the most conversions between the two games that I know of.

SF usually ports from SFC to BC, not the other way around.
The pen is truly mightier than the sword.  And considerably easier to write with.

You will need to rework the material settings in milkshape. I don't know what works best in SFC but when I converted ships to A2 I would set all but the defuse lighting too black; leave the defuse white and tag the materials for phong lighting. When in game the ships would reflect ambiant and point sorce lighting but would only emit from there own lightmaps. It could produce some very realistic effects, especially from about 150m out.

I can do the porting easy.  Would this be for personal use?
