I can't take credit for this retexture idea.

With a little encouragement from Starforce2 I cobbled together this retexture using the now established TMP Fanon Atrahasis, Ganymad and Thulls Romulan texture set.

This might do until a better texture artist can do justice to it and or somebody can tweak the mesh. The warp engines have to a a uniform dark or white or else a mesh error shows the texture on the leading edges of the warp engines in two opposite shades of the same color.

Interesting. Did you try making them uniformly brown?

No. There are some mesh issues that make some of the textures lighter or darker shades of the textures used. The top rear is an example of this. This was the best I could do with my skills.

here's an idea. Use the originals as templates. Since the originals already have a bird pattern, that bird pattern could be changed the p81/D2 brown, green aztec panneling added around the rest of the texture, ect? Has that been tried? I notice you eliminated the featers all together here.

I have tried everything in my book of tricks to get those standardized fanon TMP Romulan textures to stick. This is as close as I could get it myself.

I think this model is going to need to be remapped in order to have the uniformity I personally am looking for.

Here's the file and what I've done so far. Maybe somebody else can have a crack at it.

If anybody actually fixes the problems for it please update the Readme and post a link here, please.

I was refering to using the original feathers on the tagor, and just changing their color...

I tried that too and didn't like it. I think somebody else should step up and try to work on this now.
