bug report
« on: April 24, 2009, 08:09:47 pm »
Was playing a single player in a KWR.

When I downloaded the S torps to F, they only took two turns to load.  the installed F torp took half again the time that the downloaded S to F's did (took the full 3 turns).

Might be a known bug; just wanted to report it if it wasnt; not sure if there is an ongoing bug thread.

not a bug, it is accelerated arming.  A G,S,or R.  Can be loaded in two turns as an F torp.  Cost is 2 on the first turn and a total of 4 on the second to arm.  In SFB you are suppose to fire it as soon as the extra energy used to quick load it.  SFC does it differently tho.

Thanks for the explanation, very much.

Next question (just to myself): does 3 x F torp = 2 x S torp.. on the receiving end?

..hey thats a great nugget to consider... thanks!

An F - Torp that is fast loaded takes 2.5 points per turn for two turns.

Also fast loaded f-torps cost 1 to hold.F-torps that are in a F-torp tube however are free to hold.
