X3D for SFC3 on TV (Harry or Dan question)

Just saw an infomercial on TV for this X3D thingy, I think there are some new fangled 3D-glasses of some sort.  It was hosted by Will Weaton(aka Wesley Crusher).

At one point they looked to a supposed live monitor of a Star Trek Convention and the put up text at the bottom of the screen, something to the effect of "Starfleet Command III and X3D, both coming soon".

So, it must have been taped before SFC3 came out, but I have never heard of playing it in 3D(visual effect of 3D glasses).

Harry or Dan know anything about this???
