I know after last night there will be a few openings at the seaboard plant that I work at. Apparently Most of the kill floor supervisors left early, because of that they had to let the rest of the people go early too. But they also had to destroy 400 hogs that were being done at the time.
Now I don't know how much money they lost because of it but it pissed off the green hat that is in charge over there, and if you want to keep your job you don't piss off the green hat people, they are the ones who can fire you at any time, for any reason, But again after last night I know there will probably a few job openings.
How did I find this out The QA Supervisor who is nominally my boss came back over in my area and told me about it, and he normally does not bug me after I first get there and find out what I need to do for the night from him, which generally is telling me when I need to get done with throwing away all the trash so the cleaning crew can do there jobs.
