Thanks.  I'm working on the upper hull at the moment and making slow progress, but there is progress nonetheless.

I'm not sure what the intended firing arcs were when Atolm designed her, but I'm considering rotating the usual saucer phaser firing points by 45 degrees.  I'm not so sure there is a particularly good spot for a torp launcher so I might leave them out of this one.

This design would make for a good Tos style experiment platform.  My thoughts add several pods on the top between the warps , Torp pod ,sensor pod and maybee small fighter/shuttle bay pod. Just a thought  :).

I dunno.... The way how I picture any addons would be semi cylindrical pod, one on each side of the lower boon, thus giving it the appearance of a second slightly smaller to noticeably smaller saucer.... Depending on what configuration pods were been used

To me the design says they got scared with the warp engines and their placement on the hull vrs crew.  Same with engine room at bottom hull placement  :P but thats how i see trek  i guess :) :-X
