These are the Droids I've been looking for.

Not quite a Terminator yet, but eerily close. The compressor for the pneumatics (i'm assuming that's the source of the buzzing) kind of kills any hope of stealth. I'd say pneumatics are the key to this rig, but how to make them quiet?

Hmm, on second watching I'm not so sure it's pneumatics, perhaps just a noisy motor to power electrics?

The
early beta
might give some clues.

Couple this with the battery stories out recently, and mount an AA-12 full auto shotgun on it, and you'd have a terrestrial combat drone.

Look a little like the Hunters in HalfLife Episode 2.

Add in a few other things.

Developments in artificial muscles.  No noisy pneumatics or hydraulics.

Flexible solar cells that can cover the cargo to supplement its power.

Improvements in low power computing and solid state storage.

Fuel cells (quiet power).

I'm sure we can think of other things.
