Tom Nelson has created the newest version of 'Begin' in years - the last version (2.0) was made for DOS.
Begin is a turned based game that captures the feel of tactical starship combat in TOS-era Trek. The controls are text-only, but don't let this turn you away. There is something satisfying about typing in "Course 90 mark 8," and having your ship respond, just like they did in all of the TV shows. I think that SFC fans would also be interested with Begin, because they share a lot in common. Outside of SFC1/2/OP, this is the best Trek simulator I have played.
