Waiting on a call back from Newegg.. somehow their system screwed up with the order placement and Paypal.. money never transferred from Paypal to Newegg and newegg hasn't shipped.. I got off the phone with them today at around 3:30 PM.. they are looking into it and handling it on their end now and have promised to expedite the order as soon as they fix problem with Paypal. I did get the memory price locked with Newegg, so there is no need to worry about fluctuations in pricing.

Sorry it is taking so long Dizzy.. I'm doing the right things on my end..

He's done. But my dad is dying. He's on his deathbed which is why I havent picked up the comp yet. He is expected to live another 24-48 hrs. I was very close to him and he leaves behind his 3 grand kids and 2 sons and wife. He was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer 5 years ago and they thought the surgery and chemo got it all after a year. 3 and a half years later it returned with a vengeance. 40 brain tumors, Liver, Lungs and Lymph nodes, and other places... He didnt have a chance. He's resting peacefully now waiting to be with the lord...

My Father has advanced Alzhiemers...it sucks...just seeing him waste away knowing it's only a matter of time...

My thought and prayers go out to you Diz. I watched my grandfather virtually disitegrate from alzheimers a few years ago. He was the meanest, baddest arse in town, but that disesase cut him down to nothing.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the words. Nice to know people care. He passed away this morning. My sister n law was with him when he died. The nurse said it was very peaceful.

I'm really sorry Dizzy. I lost an uncle to it just within the past day and years ago lost my fiance and both grandfathers to it a few years ago. There are no right words other than I kind of understand what you're going through... best wishes.

Thanks so much guys. Sorry to hear we all have suffered. And imho, there will NEVER be a cure for cancer. The drug companies are too rich off treatment. f*ckers.

They'll never be a cure for anything as long as treating the symptoms is more profitable than curing the disease. While I am a very strong fiscal conservative, this is the one place where I think socialism may be the answer.

Sorry about your loss Dizzy, the hurt won't ever completely go away, but it will fade after time.

My condolences Dizzy, losing a Father is one of the hardest things to cope with and I feel for you. At least he went peacefully and is no longer in pain.

I'll pray for him, and for you.
