Orion Pirates Mission Help

I have downloaded the FMSE mission creator and created a simply test mission for OP. However, whenever I start the game, it crashes. By process of elimination I have found that the game only crashes with the new mission file in the scripts folder. And to clarify, it crashes at the title screen, it doesnt even get into the actual game. Does anyone know the cause and/or perhaps the solution? Thanks in advance for the help.

Unless it's possible to make a new one for op. Isn't it a direct x issue?
